The Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a professional who is well versed in the Lean Six Sigma Methodology who both leads or supports improvement projects, typically as a part-time role. A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt possesses a thorough understanding of all aspects within the phases of D-M-A-I-C. They understand how to perform and interpret Six Sigma tools and how to use standard principles of Lean. The Council for Six Sigma Certification is a Professional Association dedicated to growing and enhancing the standards within the Six Sigma Community. CSSC Accreditation does not constitute approval or recognition of our own lean six sigma certification program. It does however indicate that we are aligned with an internationally credible body.
In order to achieve the professional designation of Certified Green Belt (ICGB) from us, candidates must sit for the Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Exam and achieve a minimum score of 385 points out of a total 500 points. There are no prerequisites required in order to sit for the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Exam.
